Nokia N9 uses Sheets to handle subtasks within applications and to provide temporary access to certain application views within the context of the original application. For example, Sheets are used when creating a new calendar event or viewing a photo attachment from an email. Regardless of its type, all Sheets share the behaviour of sliding up from the bottom of the screen and sliding back down when a task is complete. Menus (object and action) also behave in this way.
