Note that the Landscape orientation also supports full screen mode.

While the device screen is compact, it still has a high resolution, which means that a single pixel is almost invisible on the screen. You should take this into account when designing applications. We recommend using bigger sizes for fonts and UI elements in general, than in comparable desktop applications. For example, a horizontal line with a width of one pixel is not a convenient solution.

The default fonts in Nokia N9 have sizes of 24 pixels and 32 pixels.

By default, N9 uses a relatively light theme. If you want for your application to consume less power, you can use the inverted theme.
